TO HELP YOU PLAN YOUR SPECIAL DAY

1) May we suggest your guests are greeted at the Reception by a line-up consisting of ~

    1st Bride's Mother 5th Bride
    2nd Bride's Father 6th Bridegroom
    3rd Bridegroom's Mother 7th Bridesmaids
    4th Bridegroom's Father 8th Best Man

2) During your reception and after you have received your guests, the bride, groom and families proceed to their photo call.

3) When the Meal is announced all guests take their seats first, followed by the top table, and then the Bride and Bridegroom are greeted.

4) Grace, if required, is said before the meal commences.

5) It is customary for the bride and bridegroom to cut the cake after the main course, before the sweet is served. The cake can then be served with coffee.

6) After coffee, the bride's father normally commences the speeches with a toast to the bride and bridegroom.

7) The bridegroom responds on behalf of himself and his wife, not forgetting to toast the bridesmaids.

8) The best man responds on behalf of the bridesmaids and continues with his speech.

9) Any additional speeches now take place.

10) The best man finally reads the cards and telegrams.
